The Western world through the best horses, shows, enthusiasm and flavours of America. The Barrel Racing World Cup and special events such as Pole Bending and Team Penning are not-to-be-missed.

The Western Show welcomes an absolute innovation: Working Cow Horse, one of the most dynamic and spectacular specialities effectively combining three disciplines: Herd work, Reined work and Fence work. This competition highlights the power and versatility of horses, as well as the skill and courage of riders. Fieracavalli, in collaboration with ERCHA, the European Reined Cow Horse Association, will host an event approved by the mother association across the Channel, NRCHA – National Reined Cow Horse Association, for the top 7 horses and riders in Europe.
The Barrel Racing World Cup is again back of course - and the 2009 appointment welcomes new competitor countries joining the other latest entrants Germany, Czech Republic, Holland, Poland, Uruguay and China. The Barrel Racing World Cup will take place for the third year thanks to the precious collaboration of NBHA (National Barrel Horse Association).

The others scheduled competitions complete the range on offer: the Italian Cup and Italian Championships for Barrel Racing and Pole Bending, the Regions Cup, Futurities and the Fieracavalli Team Penning Challenge. Not to forget the morphology events with the parade of horses representing the three American breeds: Appaloosa, Quarter Horse and Paint. The Western Show at Fieracavalli will welcome more than 700 horses as the best breeds and speciality performance champions.
