This year, Fieracavalli - International Horse Festival, again hosts the Exhibition of Tourism and the Village of Traditions, two major areas created to promote the equestrian sector and national and international horse routes immersed in natural settings.
The objective is to valorise the ancient relationship between horses and their natural habitat by promoting an original type of eco-sustainable tourism enjoying continual growth on a European scale.
More and more numerous enthusiasts in Italy now favour equestrian tourism compared to traditional destinations: 100,000 people enjoy riding at Fitetrec-Ante centres (Italian equestrian tourism federation), joined by families and young people searching for alternative holidays. About one million people in Italy alone become 12 millions if we look at the European continent as a whole.
Discover all the other initiatives offered by an alternative tourism rich in fascination and folklore at the Exhibition of Tourism and the Village of Traditions of Fieracavalli (5-8 November 2009).
