Large, modernised grandstands will welcome you to enjoy the spectacle assured by the top riders and horses in the sector.
And if you are looking for high-suspense competitions, then the Pala BMW is the ideal location for you. It is the stage setting for the most important event in the Fieracavalli sports calendar: the 17th edition of Jumping Verona, the only Italian leg of the Longines FEI World CupTM that, every year, attracts the top names in international show jumping.
With the confirmation of by Egyptian rider Abdel Said, the surprise winner of the 2016 Grand Prix, 17 countries are now represented this year: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Colombia, Egypt, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Norway, Holland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and, naturally enough, Italy.
The Italian Team for the FEI World CupTM Grand Prix will be composed by Emilio Bicocchi, Piergiorgio Bucci, Lorenzo De Luca, Juan Carlos Garcia, Emanuele Gaudiano, Giulia Martinengo Marquet, Luca Marziani, Luigi Polesello and Alberto Zorzi. While Roberto Arioldi, Filippo Marco Bologni, Mirco Casadei, Alessia Costalla, Claudio Del Nevo, Massimiliano Ferrario, Luca Maria Moneta and Michele Previtali will compete only in the CSI5*-W.
The same course hosting horses and riders for the World Cup also welcomes riders taking up the challenge in the first edition of the FEI Pony Jumping Trophy, which makes its world debut precisely at Fieracavalli, as well as the Regions Grand Prix U21. Competitions dedicated to the talented young Italian show jumping riders continue in Halls 2 and 5 which, together with the CSI1* and CSI2* events, will also host the Pony Regions Cup, the Pony Trophy and the Pony Champions Cup, not to mention the Sport Project - all events under the aegis of FISE.
