- Types of data
The Site uses cookies.
What are cookies
Cookies (or markers) are small text files that are sent from the web server visited by the user to the user's device (usually the browser) when the user accesses a particular site. They are used to store and transport information. They are stored so that the device can be recognized on the next visit. On each subsequent visit, the cookies are sent back from the user's device to the site.
Each cookie generally contains the name of the server from which it was sent, its expiration date, and a value, usually a unique number randomly generated by the computer.
First-party and third-party cookies
Cookies can be installed not only by the operator of the website visited by the user (first-party cookies), but also by a different website that installs them through the first website (third-party cookies) and is able to recognize them. This happens because the visited website may contain elements (images, maps, sounds, links to web pages on other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than the visited website.
Technical, analytical and profiling cookies
Depending on their purpose, cookies are divided into technical cookies and profiling cookies.
Technical cookies are installed for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service" (see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code). They are typically used to enable efficient navigation between pages, store user preferences, store information about specific user configurations, authenticate users, etc.
Technical cookies can be divided into navigation cookies, used to record data useful for normal navigation and use of the website on the user's computer (for example, allowing the preferred page size to be saved in a list), and functional cookies, which allow the website to remember the choices made by the user in order to optimize its functionality (for example, functional cookies allow the website to remember a user's specific settings, such as country selection and, if set, permanent login status). Some of these cookies (called essential or strictly necessary) enable functions without which certain operations would not be possible.
Pursuant to the aforementioned Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code, the use of technical cookies does not require user consent, but only the obligation to inform users.
Pursuant to the Provision, so-called analytics cookies are assimilated to technical cookies – and, therefore, their installation does not require user consent – if:
- created and used directly by the first-party site manager (without, therefore, the intervention of third parties) for the purpose of optimising the site itself to collect aggregate information on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, as well as
- created and made available by third parties if:
- used by the first-party site for purely statistical purposes, if suitable minimization measures are adopted to reduce their identifying power (for example, by masking appropriate portions of the IP address) and used solely for the production of aggregate statistics and in relation, as a rule, to a single site or a single mobile application, so as not to allow tracking of the navigation of the person who uses different applications or browses different websites;
- Third parties who provide the website with web measurement services do not combine, enrich, or cross-reference the data, even if minimized as above, with other information available to such third parties (e.g., customer files or statistics on visits to other websites), nor do they transmit them to other third parties.
Profiling cookies are used to track user navigation, analyze their behavior for marketing purposes, and create profiles of their tastes, habits, choices, etc., in order to deliver targeted advertising messages based on the user's interests and preferences expressed while browsing online. Pursuant to Article 122 of the Privacy Code, these cookies may be installed on the user's terminal only if the user has given their consent after being informed using the simplified methods indicated by the Guarantor in the Provision (publication on the website of a "brief" notice contained in an instant-appearing banner on the home page (or another page through which the user can access the website), which links to a "full" notice, which can be accessed through a clickable link).
Persistent and session cookies
Based on their duration, cookies are classified as persistent, which remain stored on the user's device until they expire, unless removed by the user, and session, which are not stored permanently on the user's device and disappear when the browser is closed.
List of cookies used by this website
technical cookies
This site uses technical cookies, installed by the site itself for the purposes indicated below.
This type of cookie cannot be disabled and, as indicated above, their installation does not require the prior consent of users pursuant to Article 122 of the Privacy Code.
Anonymized analytical cookies
The site uses analytical cookies created and made available by third parties to statistically analyze accesses or visits to the site itself, allow the Owner to improve its structure, navigation logic and content and collect information on the use of the site.
For more details and information, please visit the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1011397
These cookies, appropriately anonymized (by masking significant portions of the IP address), allow the collection of aggregate information on the number of users and how they visit the site without being able to identify individual users. Therefore, prior consent from users is not required, as indicated in the Provision.
Analytical cookies equivalent to profiling cookies
The Site uses analytical cookies created and made available by third parties to statistically analyze accesses or visits to the site itself, allow the Owner to improve its structure, navigation logic and content and collect information on the use of the site.
For more details and information, please visit the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1011397
These cookies, since they are not anonymous, allow the collection of information about users and how they visit the site. For these cookies, users' prior consent is required in accordance with the Provision.
profiling cookies
The Site uses profiling cookies created and made available by third parties that allow us to monitor users as they browse, tracking and storing their preferences and thus creating profiles that allow us to send personalized messages more closely tailored to their interests on the domains listed above. As indicated above, users' prior consent is required pursuant to Article 122 of the Privacy Code and in accordance with the Provision.
Below, for each cookie used, are listed the name, any third party, purpose of use, and duration.
After the retention periods indicated above, the data will be destroyed or made anonymous, compatible with the technical deletion and backup procedures.
- Providing data
Data relating to cookies for which consent is not required are necessary to provide the relevant service; therefore, failure to provide such data will make it impossible to use the requested service.
- recipients
The processing operations connected to the web services of this Site are carried out by personnel expressly authorised to carry out the processing and who have received adequate operating instructions.
The data may also be processed, on behalf of the Data Controller, by third parties designated as Data Processors pursuant to Art. 28 of the GDPR, such as natural and/or legal persons who carry out activities related to the purposes indicated above, for example, the company responsible for managing and maintaining the Site.
The data may be disclosed to independent data controllers, such as authorities and supervisory and control bodies authorized to request/receive data, as well as to third-party providers (or vendors) listed in the tables above containing the list of cookies, which also includes a link to the relevant information.
Where data is transferred to countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) that have not been deemed adequate by the European Commission, the "transfer tools" referred to in Article 45 of the GDPR will be used, assessing the possible implementation of "additional measures" to ensure a level of protection substantially equivalent to that required by European Union law. For further information, see the links to the third-party privacy policies listed in the table.
- How to grant and withdraw consent to the installation of profiling cookies
Profiling cookies will be installed on your devices only with your prior consent, expressed by selecting the "Accept all cookies" button in the banner containing the brief information, or by selecting the relevant category and clicking "Accept only selected cookies."
Consent to the use of cookies is recorded with a specific "technical cookie".
You can always change your choices and, in particular, revoke any consent you previously gave by clicking on "Cookies" at the bottom of each page of the Site and then on "Change your consent."
Users can still manage their cookie preferences through their browser settings. Even if the user's web browser is set to automatically accept cookies, they can change the default settings through the settings menu, deleting and/or removing all or some cookies, blocking the sending of cookies, or limiting their use to certain sites. Disabling, blocking, or deleting cookies may compromise the optimal use of certain areas of the Site or prevent certain features, as well as impact the functioning of third-party services.
