This is confirmed by the facts and figures for edition no. 125 held in Verona 9-12 November 2023. Fieracavalli – over just four show days – exceeded all expectations: the equestrian event in Verona stood out through record figures in terms of visibility and contacts, including 140,000 visitors from 60 countries crowding the exhibition centre and the 700 exhibitors taking part.
In the four weeks between 12 October and 12 November, the Fieracavalli website attracted more than 1.9 million hits from 250,545 unique users, showcasing 120 news items and 19 photo galleries. The wide-ranging focus and features covering the equestrian world, sustainability and animal welfare proved to be a great success with the general public. The sporting competitions were particularly popular: Jumping Verona, the only Italian stage of the Longines FEI Show Jumping World CupTM, together with the main Western competitions and the most important contests for Spanish, Arabian and Italian horses (broadcast live on the Fieracavalli website) achieved more than 147,000 hits in total. Exceptional results were seen for Arabian Dream 2023 that with 15 hours of broadcasts posted 80,410 hits, of which 41% on Sunday, the highest among all sector events.
Fieracavalli 2023 clearly demonstrated its national and international status through impressive media coverage: the 125th Show was highlighted in more than 1,400 online articles and 337 periodicals, local and national newspapers, radio and TV stations. Constant and detailed storytelling proved capable of reaching a potential readership of 68,000,000 people, thus definitively certifying Fieracavalli as the “place to be” for everyone with an interest in this sector.
Similarly, the involvement of VIPs and influencers who – through their official profiles – helped bring their communities inside the Exhibition Centre itself, to reveal all the souls of the event, reaching more than 57,000,000 potential hits.
