Physical and mental well-being, along with respect and mutual trust, form the foundation of ethological training methods. These values will take the stage at the 127th edition of Fieracavalli, inside Pavilion 10, with the debut of the Horse Friendly Arena – a project by the renowned horseman Umberto Scotti designed to promote equine welfare and foster dialogue between equestrian professionals and enthusiasts.
Here, trainers and instructors from leading schools of excellence will come together to showcase the finest training approaches and horse-human relationship practices, all guided by communication, understanding, and respect for the horse’s true nature.
In the first ring, four prestigious groups will take the spotlight: the Italian École de Légèreté Group, Massimo Basili’s Classical Equitation in Lightness, Emilio De Martino’s Italian Equestrian Academy, and Chiara Angelini with Fausto Sturaro (also present in Area A). Together, they will highlight the importance of a horse-human relationship built on communication and mutual listening.
The second ring will instead be dedicated to Natural Horsemanship with the participation of the Italian Team of Parelli Instructors and, in an exclusive appearance, world-famous horse whisperer Pat Parelli. The creator of the Parelli Natural Horsemanship Program will present his approach to liberty work, based on non-verbal communication, trust, and mutual respect between horse and human.
Inside the hall, a special meet & greet area will also be set up, giving enthusiasts and newcomers the opportunity to meet Pat Parelli in person and gain deeper insights into the philosophy that has revolutionized the way we communicate with horses.
The new Horse Friendly Arena awaits you in Pavilion 10 at the 127th Fieracavalli: a unique chance to discover, learn, and experience first-hand the most respectful and innovative methods for horse welfare.
