Opposites in the arena: it’s just a matter of time…

Baby Boomers and Gen Z meet at Jumping Verona 2025. The most experienced competitor is Arnaldo Bologni from Italy, aged 65, who is attending Jumping Verona for the fourth time, having previously competed in 2001, 2007 and 2024. He has enjoyed a fantastic career, with two Olympic partecipations and a victory in the Grand Prix at the CSIO Rome to his name.

He has always been a passionate showjumper, and it is his deep love for the discipline that motivates him to continue competing with the best.

Paolo Paini, aged 56, joins Arnaldo in the ‘over 50s club’. He has competed in Verona five times, in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2024. This weekend, he will be riding Casal Dorado, the horse with whom he won the Italian title.

Marie Eder, who turned 18 in October, last May took everyone by surprise with her victory in the leg of the Italian Champions Tour in Rome. She is attending Verona with enthusiasm and ambition. She might just surprise again…

Luiz Felipe, aged 20, comes from a solid equestrian background. His parents and grandparents competed at the top level of show jumping for Brazil and Belgium, and he is ready to write his own chapter in the sport’s history.
