Italian breeds: the heart of equine biodiversity on display with AIA

In ring A of hall 10

From November 7 to 10, the 127th edition of Fieracavalli brings the best of Italian horses to the arena with the traditional Italian Gala and the Presentation of Italian Breeds. Thanks to the collaboration with AIA-ITALIALLEVA, ANACAITPR, ANACRHAI, ANAM and ANAREAI, 25 equine and 7 donkey breeds will be present, for a total of 180 specimens. Every day, horses and donkeys will alternate between races, catwalks, in-depth moments and shows.

The fair opens on Thursday with the CAITPR 30-month Stallion Championship, followed by the acrobatics of the Haflinger Folie and the inauguration of Italialleva with the horses in the arena. The Bardigiano Horse and the Italian Agricultural Horse will enchant the public, while the presentation of the Italian breeds will culminate in the Italian Carousel, a true spectacle of elegance and tradition, concluding the day with the majesty of the Maremmano Horse.

Friday will be a succession of unique moments: the free movement of the horses introduces the performances of the Bardigiano Horse and the Haflinger Folie. The catwalk of Italian breeds and the presentation of horses bred by the CSEs will allow you to discover fascinating breeds. In the afternoon, the Bardigiano, Maremmano and Italian Agricultural Horse with the CAITPR Show will enchant the public, before closing with the parades of the Italian Carousel.

The penultimate day, Saturday, promises strong emotions, starting with the Maremmano Horse, the protagonist of the “Best in Show 2024”, the final of the ANAM National Morphology Championship. There will also be the Italian Agricultural Horse, the Haflinger Folie and the catwalk of the Italian breeds bred by the CSEs. In the afternoon, the Cavallo Bardigiano Show and the Italian Gala with the Italian horse show will precede the ANACAITPR award ceremony. The day will end with the Maremmano Horse and the last parades of the Italian Carousel.

Closing the event, Sunday will offer visitors a rich program: from the free movement of horses to the catwalk of Italian breeds, passing through the exhibitions of Haflinger Folie and Cavallo Maremmano. In the afternoon, the Italian Gala will present the final show and awards, concluding with the performances of the Bardigiano Horse and the Italian Agricultural Horse with the CAITPR Show. The event will greet visitors with the last, spectacular parade of the Italian Carousel, celebrating four days of passion, tradition and charm of the Italian equine world.
