Heart of American riding, Pavilion 12 hosts the spectacular Team Penning and Reining competitions, showcasing the agility, precision, and speed of each horse-and-rider pair in the arena.
Thursday opens with the traditional inaugural parade of the Western Show, followed by the first go-rounds of the Contest International Open 15 points, Open 13 points, and the first round of the Futurity. In the afternoon another parade heats up the arena, followed by the riders’ presentations and the Italian Championship 15 points and LTS Open Elite 11 points classes.
On Friday and Saturday, the action starts at 9:00 a.m. with the competitions: the second go-rounds of the international Contests, Futurity, and the Non Pro and Ladies categories take place. Saturday also features the Ugolini–Taddia Memorial in the Ltd Open 13 points class, followed by the parade dedicated to Ladies & Youths, and the rounds valid for awarding the Italian Youths, Ladies, 11 points and Non Pro 8 points titles.
To close both Friday and Saturday, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Reining Show Fieracavalli – Special Event Invitational Open All Ages – All Breed returns, bringing the top horse-and-rider pairs of the discipline into the arena.
Sunday is the decisive day: it starts with the Challenger Ltd Open 17 points, the finals of the Contest International Open 15 points, the Futurity final and the Regions’ Cup. In the afternoon, the last rounds of the Challenger and the Non Pro 9 points take place, followed by the awards ceremony accompanied by the ANFFAS Orchestra, officially closing the Team Penning program.
