Hall 12 of Fieracavalli – Western & Outdoor – reconfirms itself as the “place to be” where visitors can witness the best of star-studded sporting competitions and get up close and personal with the breeds typical of this fascinating area.
It begins on Thursday at 09:00 with the opening parade, during which all the Team Penning participants will officially kick off the Western Show, an unmissable event featuring the best in morphology and mounted competitions.
Next, the spotlight will turn on the Futurity – the public’s most eagerly awaited challenge, in which teams will battle it out on the thousandth of a second with horses aged between 3 and 4 years – flanked by the Ladies and Youth categories , for all-round public involvement.
The Non Pro competitions, designed for newcomers to the discipline, will also take place.
In the outdoor area of the pavilion, visitors will have the chance to test themselves on the rodeo machine, entirely Made in Italy by Erika Tessarolo, for a true cowboy experience.
The Italian Quarter Horse Association will also be present, launching the morphology competitions: the Grand Champion, where the Best in Show will be selected among geldings, stallions, and mares, and the Challenge Weanlings, dedicated to evaluating the qualities of the youngest horses.
A major highlight this year will be the extraordinary participation of Pat Parelli, the world-renowned horse whisperer, who returns to the Verona fair after 15 years with spectacular demonstrations of his Parelli Natural Horsemanship program and an exclusive meet & greet area, where he will connect with all enthusiasts of this fascinating world.
Another must-see is the Special Event Reining Show AQHA–AIQH, a top-level competition that will further enrich the sports program of the Western and Outdoor Pavilion.
