Fieracavalli is scheduled in <\/span>Verona 7<\/span><\/b>–<\/span>10 November<\/span><\/b>. The event continues to strengthen its <\/span>efforts <\/span><\/b>to <\/span>promote Italian horse breeds<\/span><\/b> and this year begins collaboration with the <\/span>Haflinger Federation<\/span><\/b>: the organization has been engaged for over a century in work to preserve the <\/span>culture<\/span><\/b>, <\/span>roots<\/span><\/b> and historical <\/span>heritage <\/span><\/b>of the <\/span>Haflinger<\/span><\/b> breed.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These horses, originally from Alto Adige, have always been admired for their <\/span>docile nature <\/span><\/b>and <\/span>reliability<\/span><\/b>, but also for their <\/span>iconic chestnut coat<\/span><\/b> and unmistakable <\/span>blonde mane<\/span><\/b>. Furthermore, Haflingers are today one of the best-loved horses for <\/span>horse assisted therapy<\/span><\/b>, <\/span>sport <\/span><\/b>and <\/span>leisure.\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An unmissable event is planned this weekend for everyone who already appreciates the typical features of Haflingers as well as those who have not yet discovered these horses: The <\/span>HALFLINGER FESTIVAL and large provincial exhibition.<\/span><\/b> Fieracavalli<\/span><\/b> will also attend the event with an <\/span>information stand<\/span><\/b> where enthusiasts in the equestrian world will find all the news about the coming show.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sluderno from <\/span>31 May to 2 June <\/span><\/b>will see the entire Haflinger community in Alto Adige come together and celebrate the <\/span>150th anniversary <\/span><\/b>of the Federation. On this occasion, visitors will have the chance to learn about the <\/span>selection <\/span><\/b>and <\/span>assessment<\/span><\/b> work behind more than <\/span>230 horses <\/span><\/b>\u2013 as implemented by the breeders taking part \u2013 while not overlooking the entertainment side with <\/span>live <\/span><\/b>blues and <\/span>folk<\/span><\/b> music, food trucks serving Alto Adige specialities, a <\/span>parade of coaches <\/span><\/b>and \u2013 for children \u2013 the eagerly awaited Saddle Christening.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday afternoon at 15:.45, the <\/span>Val Venosta Museum<\/span><\/b> (VUSEUM) in Sluderno will also host the presentation of the <\/span>\u201c150 years of Haflinger Breeding \u2013 History and Stories\u201d<\/span><\/b> book by Dr <\/span>Erich Messner<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0 Immediately afterwards at 17:00, the Museum will also host the <\/span>Haflinger World Convention<\/span><\/b>, when <\/span>experts <\/span><\/b>in research and <\/span>equine selection<\/span><\/b> will discuss topics related to <\/span>science<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>knowledge<\/span><\/b> about the Haflinger breed.<\/span>
