From November 6 to 8, Fieracavalli transforms the ring of Pavilion 8 of Veronafiere into a real equestrian theater with Beauty, the Gala d’Oro 2025. Over three evenings, twelve paintings interpreted by Italian and international artists will portray equestrian art as an expression of the balance between tradition and innovation. The artistic direction is curated by Antonio Giarola and Linda Tavellin.
Among the most evocative moments, the artist Alex Giona and his thirteen free-range horses create a silent dialogue accompanied by the violin of the concert performer Svetlana Sazonenko. Alongside him, Diego Giona shows how trust between horse and rider remains fundamental even in the most complex performances, particularly in the Hungarian Post technique.
Adrenaline and elegance characterize the tableaux dedicated to vaulting: the Cossack vaulting, performed by Italian artists of international standing, and the academic vaulting of world champions Rebecca Greggio and Davide Zanella, winners of the FEI 2025 World Cup in Basel, combine precision and rhythm in shows of great intensity.
The Gala also celebrates Italian traditions, from the Grande Quadro Maremmano by Filippo Nassi and the Cavalieri di Pomonte to the butteri of Cottanello with the riders of the Valle di Lady and Scandriglia, to the Gruppo Italiano Attacchi with the Fanfara a Cavallo of the State Police. There is no shortage of international tributes, such as the Argentine Carousel of the “Il Salice” Equestrian Center and the Carousel of the Flags of the Knights of the Westernshow.
Among the most intense moments, the freestyle dressage “Eccellenza” with Michaela Ricci, Nelson Ramos and Leandro Freire, and the special guest of the three evenings, the 4th Carabinieri Regiment on Horseback, the only mounted unit of the Italian armed forces, which returns to the ring of honor with the famous carousel, a symbol of discipline and national identity.
