Hall 10: the Horse Friendly Arena teaches you to understand the horse

In Hall 10 of Fieracavalli – beyond the area dedicated to the biodiversity of Italian breeds and American morphology – the Horse Friendly Arena comes to life, the space that since 2019 has explained to professionals, families and children what it really means to take care of the horse, physically and mentally.

It is not an exhibition, but a path of education and awareness built to show how the relationship between man and horse is born from listening and trust.

Leading the arena is Umberto Scotti, the “horse whisperer,” who brings with him four schools: the Italian Group École de Légèreté, Chiara Angelini and Fausto Sturaro, the Italian Equestrian Academy and the Classical Lightness Riding.

“We have the best training schools in the industry, united in showing how communication and understanding of animal behavior are the keys to building an authentic and harmonious relationship with the horse,” says horse whisperer Umberto Scotti.

From Thursday to Saturday, the activities open every morning, from 9 to 11, with the free movement of AIQH horses, followed by the sessions of the arena schools: first Massimo Basili with Classical Riding in Lightness until 11.45, then the Italian Equestrian Academy until 12.15, the Italian Group École de Légèreté until 13 and, to follow, the communication demonstration with Chiara Angelini and Fausto Sturaro. After a short break dedicated to the handling of the terrain, the afternoon – from 1:30 to 5:30 pm – is reserved for ASI and the integrated disciplines.

At the end of the day, from 7 to 9 p.m., there will be space for Reining horses.

Sunday morning opens with the third round of the GIA shows, followed by the return of the schools’ educational sessions: Basili, the École de Légèreté Group, Angelini and Sturaro, and the Accademia Equestre Italiana alternate until 7:00 p.m., keeping the spaces of the Horse Friendly Arena active even on the last day of the fair.

We look forward to seeing you!
