Isabel was born in Trentino-Alto Adige, a place where – from an early age – she had the chance to be in contact with nature and animals, so much so that a horse immediately became her companion: “I was lucky enough to be able to adopt a horse, my first horse: Narcipan. He was an Arabian who had taken part in several Mountain Trails competitions and his owners wanted to give him a quieter life. He was everything to me: we understood each other from the very first moment and we established a good feeling and a special understanding».
This passion for the equestrian world continues today. Isabel’s daily work as Art Director, Content Creator and model: “Enjoying close contact with horses gives me a helping hand in my approach to my other work. The relationship with horses gives you self-control and peace of mind, as also strength and self-assurance, which are then reflected in the workplace and human relationships.”
Yet another confirmation of her special relationship with horses came – for Isabel – when launching her own clothing brand and the need to take care of her photo-shoot: “We were on a tight budget, so we chose to shoot in a field. We met a couple who were walking their horses and I thought: why not include them in the project? They let us involve the horses and it was wonderful. Observing them in their own environment, seeing how they relate to the things and people around them, once again confirmed my strong feelings for these animals.”
This was the moment when Isabel discovered that, simply by observing horses and looking into their eyes, without riding them, she is able to grasp their beauty and elegance, appreciate it all their nuances: “That’s the definition of horse watching, a new discipline that helps you establish a relationship with horses from a new perspective by connecting with them in a different, yet no less intense way. The symbiosis you feel takes time to develop but then grows dramatically day after day.”
